SAN JOSE, Calif. – The 2022 Rookie Faceoff, presented by Visit San Jose, at Tech CU Arena and Sharks Ice at San Jose came to a final close Monday afternoon with a matchup between the Kings and Sharks.
The 3-day tournament featured rookies from the San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights culminating Monday afternoon. Each team played three games, each consisting of three 20-minute regulation periods, followed by a five-minute, three-on-three overtime and shootout, when necessary.
