SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Sharks welcomed the Anaheim Ducks for a pre-season matchup at the SAP Center on Tuesday. Jonah Gadjovich, Danil Gushchin and Max Veronneau each had a goal and an assist for the Sharks in the 5-4 win.
Goaltender James Reimer made 26 saves in the Shark net.
Anaheim’s newcomer forward Glenn Gawdin scored twice, and netminder Anthony Stolarz posted 24 saves in the net.

Noah Gregor gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead on their first shot of the game 17 seconds into the first period, and Scott Reedy made it 2-0 at 1:56.
Hunter Drew cut it to 2-1 at 12:16 but Gushchin pushed the lead to 3-1 at 17:46.

Gadjovich extended the lead to 4-1 at 2:04 of the second period, but the Ducks pulled within 4-3 on goals by Gawdin at 8:10 and Josh Lopina at 10:53.
Veronneau put San Jose up 5-3 at 2:36 of the third period before Gawdin scored short-handed with 1:23 remaining for the 5-4 final.
